A three-day retreat for Edo State Civil and Public Service Leaders is currently underway at the Udomi Town Hall, Udomi, Esan Central Local Government Area. The retreat is designed to strengthen leadership capacity and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery in Edo State, in alignment with the principles of sustainable development.

The programme is being attended by the Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources and Sanitation, Hon. Washington Osa Osifo alongside other party leaders and key public service officials. Their presence underscores the strong commitment of the Edo State Government and its political leadership to building a professional, accountable, and results-driven public service capable of meeting the developmental aspirations of the state.

The retreat focuses on enhancing leadership and managerial competencies, promoting ethical standards and accountability, and fostering collaboration among civil and public service leaders. Participants are actively engaging in discussions aimed at improving service delivery, strengthening institutional performance, and aligning public service operations with Edo State’s strategic development priorities.

Throughout the ongoing sessions, participants are taking part in interactive workshops, experience-sharing forums, and strategic dialogues.
